Services

Over 25 years of experience, SLC Therapy of WNY has gained a reputation for having a responsible, sympathetic, and responsive therapist team.

Speech Therapy

SLCWNY provides services in all areas of Speech Therapy, including:

  • Apraxia
  • Articulation
  • Augmentative Communication
  • Autism
  • Feeding
  • Oral Motor
  • PECS
  • Sign Language
  • PROMPT

In general, SLCWNY services are play based. Because “homework” in Speech Therapy naturally involves learning to use words, we give parents ideas on what they can use in their everyday life to help their child learn.

Examples include:

  • Using bath time to learn the names of body parts
  • Learning the names of clothing and color in dressing
  • Using toy cars to get their child to make articulation sounds

Areas of focus for PT include:
