Tami Treutlein

Director / Speech-Language Pathologist

Tami Treutlein is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and founder of SLC Therapy of WNY. She received her Master’s in Communicative Science and Disorders from SUNY Geneseo and her undergraduate degree from Adelphi University. Tami also holds a certificate in Life Learning & Behavior Strategies for Children with Autism from the University of Rochester, and is a member of the Class of 2014 of the University at Buffalo School of Management’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. Tami serves as a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader and is a former board member for the Warsaw YMCA Branch and the Wyoming County Community Hospital Foundation. She is a wife and mother of four.


Sarah Maginnis

Director of Therapy Services/Speech Language Pathologist

Sarah Maginnis is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who has been working with young children and their families since 2001. She received her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Buffalo State College and her Bachelor’s Degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from SUNY Geneseo. Sarah joined SLC Therapy of WNY in 2011 and stepped into her current leadership role in 2020. An active therapist at heart, Sarah loves helping children and families discover functional and meaningful ways to communicate. She also has a passion for mentoring the next generation of therapists in her role as Supervisor to SLC’s Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows.

Tina Ciamaga

Director of First Impressions/Office Manager

Tina Ciamaga is the heartbeat of the SLC Therapy of WNY office. As our Director of First Impressions, Tina is often the first friendly voice families hear when they reach out to us. She keeps the office running smoothly, ensures nothing falls through the cracks, and brings warmth and organization to everything she does. If you’ve ever called our office, chances are Tina made your day a little brighter.

Director of Projects/Office Assistant

Lisa Tangeman brings creativity and energy to the SLC Therapy of WNY team. As our Director of Creative Projects, Lisa supports the office with fresh ideas, thoughtful communication, and a can-do attitude. She plays an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping our team connected and our families informed.

Special Education

Our special educators provide individualized support to help children with developmental delays build the foundational skills they need to learn and grow. Working closely with families and classroom teams, our specialists help children participate more fully in home, daycare, and preschool settings.
